What is Cryoslimming? How does it work?

Cryoslimming uses extremely low temperatures to reduce inflammation in the body, which has been shown to improve skin elasticity and reduce cellulite. It also reduces fat cells in the area being treated, so it’s ideal for targeting problem areas like thighs, hips, and stomach.

What Is Cryoslimming?

Cryoslimming is a treatment that involves having a certified Cryoskin technician assess the area and then customize a treatment protocol with the machine. It’s used as an alternative to liposuction because it’s less invasive and more effective at reducing stubborn fat deposits. Because of the advanced technology, the device does not require suctions (which can cause injury or even deformity to the skin) like other fat freezing devices on the market. Your technician will either choose to use a manual wand or 4 static wands and apply those directly to the area being treated.

How Does Cryoslimming Work?

Cryoslimming uses extremely low temperatures to reduce the size of fat cells. This process is called apoptosis, which means cell death. In order to achieve this effect, cryoslimming uses a patented technology created by the Italian company Pagani, to freeze fat cells without causing harm to the area treated. Once frozen, the fat cells die off naturally and are eliminated through the lymphatic system.

Are There Any Side Effects?

Cryotherapy has been used for centuries as an alternative treatment for various medical conditions. However, there are no known side effects associated with Cryoslimmings other than temporary redness and swelling in the area treated. Clients who have serious medical conditions, cold allergies or pregnant, are not recommended (and will be turned away) to receive treatments. In most cases (other than the cold allergy) this is due to the body's immune system and lymphatic efficiency. In short, if you are not healthy you should not give your body more work -- in this case processing the fat cells, while it is a totally natural procedure, it can overwhelm the body of someone who is not healthy. If you are not sure if you are a good candidate, always talk to your doctor before receiving any body contouring treatment.

Can I Try Cryoslimming Before I Start?

Yes! Our clinics offer introductory offers to allow clients who are unsure of the treatment, to come into our clinic, receive a custom consultation AND try the treatment. In most cases you will see the effects of the treatment that same day, but these effects are only permanent if you continue with the treatment.
